What areas does your Property Caretaking Service cover in Sedgefield?

The service covers homeowners in Sedgefield who use their property occasionally or rent it out as a holiday rental throughout the year.

Who is the service intended for?

It is designed for property owners who are not permanently residing in their homes and need regular checks and management to maintain the property and assist holiday guests.

What is included in the Bi-Weekly Care Package?

The Bi-Weekly Care Package includes bi-weekly checks of the external home condition, garden, pool fencing, internal electricity and water systems, keyholding and alarm response, garden watering, monthly house cleaning and dusting, bi-weekly alarm testing, guest meet and greet, and on-call support for holiday rentals.

How does the Weekly Care Package differ from the Bi-Weekly one?

The Weekly Care Package offers the same services as the Bi-Weekly package but performed on a weekly basis instead of every two weeks.

Are you able to respond to property alarms on behalf of the owner?

Yes, with keyholding service, caretakers have access to the property and will respond to any alarms on the owner’s behalf.

How are guests assisted during holiday rentals?

Guests receive a meet and greet to ensure they are settled in and informed about the alarm system and appliances. The caretakers also remain on call to manage any incidents promptly for a smooth holiday experience.

What are the pricing details for the Bi-Weekly and Weekly packages?

The Bi-Weekly service costs R650.00 retainer plus 10% of the holiday rental value. The Weekly service is R1100.00 retainer plus 10% of the holiday rental value.

What add-on services do you offer beyond the basic caretaking packages?

Additional services include full gardening, maintenance management (with contractors), laundry handling for holiday linens, and arranging full house cleans after rentals.

How do you handle maintenance work that requires contractors?

A detailed report and quotation will be provided for approval before work begins. The caretakers manage the contractor’s work onsite to ensure completion.

Can the service be customized if I have specific requests?

Yes, the service is flexible and can accommodate diverse owner requests to serve as your comprehensive support arm whenever required.
